RESPONSIBILITY
The direction of our company is set towards a sustainable future for both people and the planet. Wherever possible, we seek to contribute to environmental suitability. We invite you to follow our responsible business behavior.
We integrate and focus on three areas of sustainability; environmental, social and economic performance. By bridging these three areas, we integrate all facets of sustainability into our core business and procedures.

CSR POLICY
Our commitment is based on a holistic, circular economy approach -integrating social, environmental and economic concerns into the core of our business. We realized we cannot save the world alone, but we are confident that our efforts can contribute.
We take an active stance in creating a positive change to sustainable development. Therefore, we emphasize and continuously raise the importance of social and economic sustainability and development.
PEOPLE
KitePride`s founding pillar is people. We were founded in order to provide jobs to those that would have otherwise not have had. All of our employees are survivors of human trafficking and prostitution referred to us by human shelters and governmental organizations.
Employees are referred to KitePride either with or without sewing skills. Depending on each employees want and aspiration, jobs are assigned accordingly with some employees wanting to learn how to sew whilst others do not.
Our studio is split into 3 - design, production and quality. The design department consists of cutting, marking and bundling. The production team consists of sewing, manufacturing and bag assembly. The quality team consists of tagging, checking and packing. Each employee decides on skills they are wanting to learn and develop.

ENVIRONMENT
Environmental sustainability is our second pillar of existance. Since our foundation, zero waste solutions, waste consumption and environmental longevity is at our forefront. We are constantly seeking for sustainable solutions wherever possible and viable.
In 2016, we started by up-cyling wooden pallets into furniture however, due to its hard material, we pivoted in 2018 to our current model of up-cycling old ocean gear. Since 2018, we have proudly saved 15,146m² of material that would have otherwise gone to landfill.
We currently up-cycle ocean related gear such as kitesurfing kite, sail, parachute & wetsuit however, we aim to expand and incorporate other materials into our up-cycled portfolio.
LONGEVITY
We have found that longevity has shown to be one of the most influential parameters for improving environmental impacts. In other words: the longer our products lasts, the smaller its annual environmental impact are.
With this in mind, each bag is designed and manufactured with care and precision.
