I loved the time I was able to spend with KitePride as part of my sabbatical, getting to know their people, their vision and their heart. I especially enjoyed working in the kitchen and call out “ochel muchan” (food is ready) to invite everyone to come and eat lunch. I also enjoyed helping the production and talking with everyone, learning about the Hebrew culture. Volunteering at KitePride has been a big inspiration for me and I feel like the time has been a big driver for many other developments in my life. Thank you, KitePride!

In 2020 I read in a magazine about Kitepride. My heart opened up for their work and I felt God wanted me to go and volunteer there. It was not easy especially since it was during Corona. But when I first meet the team on Zoom, there was this click and I knew it's the right move.
And this is how it came that I was able to meet all the amazing people who work at Kitepride. I felt like I was able to contribute to be like a mom for them,  to be around, to listen, to help with the food, to clean - I loved it very much. Thank God for the amazing 2 years with my Kitepride family.

I have been a part of KitePride’s journey for 5 months. A 5 month period of my life when I have been discovering new places, new people and new opportunities. I can easily explain KitePride’s social and environmental impact on the world, but it is really hard to put into words what KitePride means to me. These amazing people I had the pleasure working with these few months have given me a safe and warm place to go to every day, an atmosphere of a family, and a platform to be creative and innovative. I am so thankful to be a part of the KitePride family.

I am so grateful to be part of the KitePride Family. KitePride is a Big Family where it is so nice to play!!
Being volunteer we don’t work, we play!! We play all the days of the week with pleasure! It was really an amazing experience to play with others volunteers and with all sewers, during one year! In KitePride family we speak different languages; we respected all religions; all people.
Thank to KitePride I learned a lot of things about people, religions, languages and of course about design!! I loved to play with kites, sails, neoprene: open kites, cut and clean pieces what I created, prepared all rubans and zippers for all orders! In KitePride I discovered all the process of creating.
If you want to discover Isreal, a social business, play with your hands all the days, create bags: you don’t hesitate a second: send a message to KitePride and they will help you to plan everything until your volunteer visa and your daily life if you have some troubles!

My time spent volunteering at KitePride as a professional photographer has developed in me leadership and management skills that are necessary for my new role in the company I am now working for. As a sole entrepreneur it has taught me the value of teamwork and cultivating a sense of family and home in the workplace. I’ve worked with incredible individuals who have taught me so much in two months that I wouldn’t trade my experience for an internship anywhere else. I feel more prepared to embark on a new season in my professional life. But most importantly, I know I’ve found a home in the KitePride family, working side by side with amazing people who give their all for the lives of others. Thank you KitePride!

With just two weeks of volunteering at Kitepride, i had the opportunity to get an insight into this great company.
Ok, let's speak facts: They really are a sustainable, human and environment supporting business and it was so great beeing a part of it for a little bit! The mood in the workingspace i just extraordinary, (in a sense of positive, supportive, free an fun)and that why every volunteer is also loving this place so much!
I can't really put it into words, but i really profited so much from this time, thanks a lot!

KitePride can be so many things in one that I always take about half an hour to explain to people who are them. I usually don't limit myself just saying what they produce and sell. I mostly focus on telling who they actually are: a big heterogeneous family of people who share the interest in making an impact into this world. Each one with their own characteristics and qualities, makes everything more and more special, exchanging ideas, thoughts and learnings. They don't see each other as co-workers, but as friends, creating a nice, respectful and easy going space of creation. This is by far the best work environment I have ever being to. I felt that I grown each and everyday Ive been to KitePride. I learned how important is to put our energy in something bigger that ourselves. How necessary is to look outside of our bubble and put ourselves out of our comfort zone. Thank you very much for receiving me in the past months, you gave a completely different meaning for my time in Israel.

What I love most about volunteering at KitePride is the atmosphere. You are immediately part of a big loving and caring family. And I really liked, that I could be creative and bring up new ideas. Our lunch time was a daily blast. Somebody of us cooked for all the other people - everyday a different dish from a different country. Pst, but the Arabic and Ethiopian citchen was my favourite. We gathered together every day in our beautiful citchen at our big table and the ate and laughed in several different languages. I learned a lot, too. About others, during others and about myself. Thank you so much that I was part of this amazing and heartwarming family .

Being a volunteer in general always allows for the opportunity to change something that is worth more than money. At KitePride not only can you change things but, you can give women and men the opportunity to change their life.

A great environment for restoration and new perspective. And the best thing once you leave, you notice that not only people around you got changed but you got changed yourself. Our awareness and thankfulness literally "skyrocketed". Find out for yourself what area in your life will take off and get involved :)

I worked on KitePride’s design team for two months and I can easily say this experience has impacted my life in more ways than I can easily say. From the heartwarming bonds I created with our diverse team to the many lessons I learned and special moments I shared, I feel extremely lucky to have been welcomed with open arms into this extremely beautiful and complex community of people. Thank you KitePride for giving me this opportunity and for all that you have taught me about the power of serving a mission much larger than myself.

I had the opportunity to join KitePride for a 2 month internship and I very much enjoyed my time here. It felt like being part of a big and diverse family plus I got to see all aspects of the business. From working in the office, to spending time in the production helping to recycle material and create the bags. I have experienced, that KitePride is not just a business, but a movement that brings solutions to existing problem in the social and environmental area. I loved being an active part of this and will take what I have learnt back to Germany! Thank you KitePride!

Stets in meinem Herzen seid Ihr Teil meines Lebens geworden! ❤

Some of the many....
